Chef'n FreshForce Citrus Juicer
A key message of just about any diet plan out there is that you should focus on eating fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables. Doctors advise you to try to avoid the artificial, processed items you find on supermarket shelves and instead go for the natural items.

Chef'n FreshForce Citrus Juicer This definitely is true with lemons and limes. If you have been drinking only artificial lemonade until now, you might be delighted to taste how much better lemonade can be when made fresh from the fruit. If you're lucky enough to live in a part of the world where limes and lemons grow, it also means you can support your local farmers at the same time.

The Chef'n FreshForce Citrus Juicer helps make the juicing process more easily. You cut your lemon or lime in half - it's best to do this right across the center, between the two "ends", to get all of the segments separated. Then you put the half with the curved side against the metal bowl. The juicer will in essence be turning the fruit half "inside out" during this process. That helps to get the most juice out.

We were happy with the amount of juice gotten from each lemon and lime. There might have been one or two drops remaining in the skin after it was done, but not much. The large handles make pressing the fruit easier than turning and twisting it on a countertop unit.

I've read some other reviews where people indicated the plastic gears broke. It might be that these are on older models; I haven't had any issues at all with my unit. Certainly if something ends up breaking on this I will come back and revise the review to have that information on it.

The flavors of the freshly squeezed lemon and lime are far richer than commercial bottled brands, so it makes every drink and dish I make that much fresher.

Well recommended. If you used to drink sodas, you could easily save money by switching to your own freshly squeezed lemonade!

We purchased our juicer with our own funds.
