Best friends Bailey Weggins and Jessie Pendergrass work together at Buzz, a popular celebrity gossip magazine known for its sensationalism. Jessie invites Bailey to accompany her to a weekend getaway at the home of uber record producer Scott Cohen. Upset with her boyfriend for going out of town on business he is unwilling to share with her, Bailey agrees.

Among the celebrities attending the weekend bash is supermodel Devon Barr who, after eighteen years on the catwalk, knows her modeling career will soon be over; she wants to become a recording artist and will do whatever it takes to get Scott to sign her to a recording contract.

Bailey believes that writing a high-profile article about the super model could boost sales for Bailey’s newly published first novel.

It doesn’t take long for Bailey and Jessica to realize not all is well among the guests. They could feel the tension amongst the guests was high. Later, when Bailey ran into Devon outside, the model insisted she wasn’t safe there and needed to leave.

That night, her body was found in her bed. It appeared she had died of natural causes.

Unfortunately for the rest of the guests, they were not allowed to leave until police interviewed everyone, and then a heavy snowstorm moved in before they were all interviewed, keeping them for at least another day.

When the gals finally returned to Manhattan, they went directly to the Buzz where Bailey went to work seeking the truth behind Devin’s death. She used her position at Buzz to open doors that were otherwise unattainable to her. As she continued to pursue the truth, she soon found her job in jeopardy and her own life in danger.
