Keystone Light Low Carb Beer
Keystone Light is made by the Coors Brewing Company and has only 104 calories and 5g carbs. It's relatively inexpensive and has a smooth, non-bitter flavor.
My boyfriend says the taste is a 'typical American beer', a nice amount of flavor here. It doesn't taste watery.
I find it fairly harmless. After a day of working in the garden, when I'm hot and sweaty, this is a great, cold, refreshing drink. Does it have complex flavors for savoring? Probably not, but that's OK. It's good at what it does. Fairly low alcohol, low carb, and refreshing.
We first reviewed this in 2004 and have tried it many times over the intervening years. They've kept the carb count the same, the flavor the same, and deliver a reliable, predictable product. They aren't the kind to tweak and modify what they're doing. They have something that works and they keep with it.
These come in widemouth cans, so they're easy to store, transport, and use. Just be sure to recycle them!
At 5g of carbs, it's quite a savings over regular beer, and the flavor makes a good balance. I'd definitely recommend this beer as one to try and see how you enjoy the flavor! We all like different things, and that's OK. With this being fairly innocuous, it should appeal to a variety of people.
