The iCloud app that comes with your Apple iPhone is a great app that keeps all of your devices up to date and current with each other with no syncing required.

Specific usage of the iCloud include buying music from sources such as iTunes where when you push buy the music is simultaneously downloaded on all your devices and ready to listen to. Utilizing Photo Stream any picture taken will appear on all your devices and is accessible right away.

Using your iPad to create a document can be started there but finished on other devices you own such as your iPhone without having to transfer the files. Included with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch come a number of various apps. When you download new apps iCloud will automatically download each new app purchased at one time to all of the devices you own. Another great tool as part of this app is if you cannot locate a previously purchased app you can download it again from the history of your purchases and not incur any additional cost.

This is awesome because if you are using one device and then begin using another device you have the ability to take a break you can pick it back up on the current device you are using in exactly the same place you were previously reading. The iBooks app keeps a list of titles you’ve read and as previously noted you can download them again from the purchase history to any of the devices you own or if necessary to a new device.

When you make changes on your calendar, email contacts and notes the iCloud will update all of your devices to the current information. This is awesome because I know that I update information in one place and not in another and then have to determine what info is correct. This alone saves me a lot of time and guess work.

In essence iCloud’s main purpose is to make sure all of our information including pictures, music, books, ringtones, contacts and our calendar activities are readily available on all of our devices simultaneously. This saves precious time and allows mobile use of all our information on the run. There are many times that I need a picture for marketing purposes that is on my home office computer that I do not have ready access to prior to this app that slowed the wheels of progress. This app has changed the way I do business, saved me time and allowed me to catch up on my reading in those unexpected waiting room minutes.
