Tonight October 28th at 7 pm at the Staples Center,1111 South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles, CA 90015-1300 the Grand Finale of How Sweet the Sound will take place. Gospel Legends CeCe Winans, Donald Lawrence, Shirley Caesar and Marvin Sapp will take part in the event and honor Gospel legend, Andraé Crouch for all of his contributions to the industry.

Every year the event boast some of the best gospel music from the nations top choirs and tonight will be no different. This great event and will also feature guest appearances by several celebrities including; Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah who will perform a song from their upcoming film Joyful Noise.

Marvin Sapp, Shirley Caesar, Israel Houghton and honorary guest Andraé Crouch will judge the event and select the winning choir.


The top choirs competing for $25,000 and the title of “America’s Church Choir” include:

-Chicago: All Nations Choir of The Lighthouse Church of All Nations (Alsip, IL)
-Los Angeles: Family Life Center Sanctuary Choir of Family Life Center Apostolic Church (Whittier, Calif.)
-Oakland, Calif.: Christian Life Center Mass Choir of Stockton Christian Life Center, Inc. (Stockton, Calif.)
