Postcard Swap Update
I have previously posted an article or two about participating in a postcard swap. I’m currently enjoying being part of a postcard swap that is being organised by a lovely lady in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia by the name of Ailsa Koloi.
I’ve received some fantastic postcards from all over and I thought I might share some with you today.
Just to bring you up to speed, I’ll give you some links to the articles I’ve written so far about postcard swapping.

This is a photo of the postcard I've just made this week. The theme was "Garden Critters" and I really enjoyed making this one. I'm still a bit new on the finer details of quilting with gold thread, but I'm pleased with the end result. This one is going to Marg in Canada.
Absolutely love this one that I received all the way from New South Wales in Australia, from Marian. It's very cleverly mastered. The theme for the month was "If the Shoe Fits" and Marian has taken fabric with shoes, fussy cut them and then with great precision sewn them onto a very vibrant lime green fabric. This postcard is fantastic.
I made this one for the Blue Mood theme. I had some little bits of tatting that has been "failures", but I kept them just the same, and what do you know, it came in very handy for this postcard. Added some beading and hand stitching.
This is a gorgeous postcard I received from Vicki Raynor. It is titled Blue Mood and it was our topic for June. Isn’t it lovely. And the most amazing thing is that it was Vicki’s first postcard. I love the little diamantes on the sun’s rays, such a great idea.
Well, that's all for now. Keep watching this space, and I'll have a further update in a few more months.
