Hello, and welcome back! I hope you're all enjoying nicer spring weather than we are here. It's been either hideously hot and sticky, or rainy. There's been very little happy medium. I still hope to see some pretty spring weather before it's officially summer, though. I'd like to take my reading material outside to enjoy once in a while.

This time out, I have Bodyguards in Bed (Brava, purchased), with stories by Lucy Monroe, Jamie Denton, and Elisabeth Naughton, all among my favorites. In 'Who's Been Sleeping in My Brother's Bed?', Monroe sends Danusia Chernichenko off to stay at her brother's apartment after hers is broken into. When she arrives, his friend Max Baker is already there. Danusia has wanted him since seeing him at her sister's wedding, but Max has decided she's off-limits, no matter how much he wants her, too. But Danusia won't take 'no' for an answer, and her short stay at her brother's is the perfect opportunity for some seduction. 'Hot Mess' from Denton has Alyssa Cardellini off on her very first assignment as a bodyguard. Usually she runs the office, but she accidentally overbooked, so she's heading to L.A. to protect a witness before he testifies against some very bad guys. FBI agent Noah Temple was supposed to be keeping an eye on the witness, but somehow he lost him en route. Now Alyssa thinks he's the witness, so he plays along, but lying to the sexy bodyguard isn't easy, especially when he wants to do much different things to her. And when she discovers his lie, she sends him packing, knowing she could be holding a very big secret. Naughton's 'Acapulco Heat' has Finn Tierney doing bodyguard duty for the super-hot model Lauren Kauffman while she's on a shoot, and he's having an extremely difficult time resisting the X-rated ideas that keep running through his head, especially when Lauren makes clear she's open to the notion. But Finn's job is to keep her safe, and her determination to do what she wants makes that a challenge. If you're looking for something that will keep you riveted to the pages, grab this anthology. All three stories were terrific, with some of the hottest heroes around in quite a while. I liked Danusia, who was determined to get her man any way she could. And Noah and Alyssa's story is fantastic, steamy and emotional. Then there's the phenomenally sexy Finn. I'm not sure I have words to describe how much I enjoyed him. This one has earned all five of Cupid's five arrows, a definite keeper.
