Graduation Scrapbook Albu
Graduation is a wonderful milestone to cherish in a scrapbook. Sum up the academic years in one place for an album that will be treasured by your Graduate! Having an album to look through the years of memories from Preschool or Kindergarten all the way to Senior Year and even to College is priceless!
A 12x12 album is recommended because you are sure to have a treasure trove of memories, memorabilia and photographs that span these childhood,adolescent, and even onto college years. With a 12x12 you will have plenty of room to compile everything.
A fun idea is to have guests at the graduation party write a note to include in the graduates album.
Be sure to include childhood through college awards, hobbies, best friends, photos of school activities and programs. If you have class pictures, add them to the album as well. My kids class pictures are in their yearbooks so I scanned and printed a copy of each year for their scrapbooks.
If you have pictures of your child's teachers over the year, that makes a great addition to their albums. Their teachers create a special place in their hearts. How wonderful to be able to include them in their keepsake album! If you do not have picture of their teachers, ask around to classmates to see if anyone else has pictures. Also, check the yearbooks!
Have best friends write a letter to include into the scrapbook about special memories from their friendship. Make sure to include a picture of the best friend! A bonus would be pictures of memorable moments in the friendship!
Bedrooms are important places for kids...their own little piece of home. If you have pictures of their bedrooms over the years this would be a great album to create a page with all those pics!
Did you miss some newspaper pictures or articles over the years. Check the library to see if you can find your missing cuttings in the archives to reprint.
Does your graduate have a car? A first car is a great memory to include in their album!
High school Graduation deserves some pages of its own! Make sure to include photos of the graduate in cap and gown with their diploma. Another great picture is the graduate in cap and gown in front of their High School.
A page on the Graduates intended college. Complete the page in the colleges colors and include a picture. Include in the journaling the reasons this particular college was chosen.
