Soul Link

Soul Link
Soul Link is an anime series based on a visual novel developed by Navel.

Soul Link is set in AD 2045, and focuses on a group of military cadets who attend preparatory courses of the Central Military Academy. During the series, they are studying on a space station called Aries.

The main male protagonist of the series is Ryota Aizawa. He's a third year student at the academy, who is timid and kind; he's also only slightly above average in most of his skills. However, he does possess leadership skills, which are put to the test over the course of the series. Ryota has an older brother named Shuhei, who is very talented and skipped ahead two years in the academy; he also surpasses most soldiers in combat.

There are two main female cadets at the academy. Sayaka Nagase is a childhood friend of Ryota's. Nao Morisaki is Shuhei's girlfriend. Nao is passionate and kind, and is also a medical student at the academy. Aya Sugimoto is a childhood friend of Sayaka's who comes to visit her friend at the Aries station; she's clumsy, but she's kind and cheerful. Cellaria Markelight is an instructor on the Aries station, and she appears to care for her students a lot.

Kazuhiko Nitta is a computer specialist and hacker. Aki Nitta is his younger sister, and she's an even better hacker than her brother. Yuu Yamanami is a quiet and mysterious passenger on the Aries station; it turns out that she's a mercenary. Shigemichi Morimoto is the steward of the Aries station, and it's his responsibility to take care of the passengers and act as the general manager. He also has a helpful personality.

Soul Link has decent animation, but it's nothing spectacular. Content-wise, there is a bit of fanservice. In the first episode, there is a shot of Sayaka's underwear when she and Ryota collide into each other at the spaceport. Later at the spaceport, when Ryota is running late, he trips and his face lands into the breasts of the buxom Yuu. With this kind of content, Soul Link is definitely not being aimed at younger viewers. Personally, I would recommend Soul Link to anime viewers who are 16 or 17 years of age and older.
