DreamGear PS3 Move Quad Charger
The DreamGear PS3 Move Quad Charger provides you with an easy, well organized way to charge up the four PS3 Move controllers necessary to play most multiplayer PS3 Move games.
One of the main issues with the PS3 Move system is that you have to somehow keep all these various units charged up and fully function. It's a royal pain if your controller dies when you're deep in the middle of your favorite game! Because there's four of them, having a single unit that charges all of them at the same time is perfect.
The unit is just about as small as it could be. The four controllers sit in it vertically, in a two by two grid, and they fit in quite easily. In essence the port at the base of each controller fits right into a matching port in the half-a-sphere shaped charger unit.
There's a ring around the base of each controller's area which turns blue when that controller is fully charged. That way you can tell at a glance when they are ready.
There's an on-off switch so if you're playing with the controllers you can turn off the unit and not have it use any extra power.
The Quad Charger even provides an extra bonus - there are two regular USB ports on the back side of the unit. So if you have items in your house that need to plug into a USB, you can plug them in here. There's a lot of charging that this one little item can handle for you.
Are there any downsides here? Normally I try to make my reviews as rounded as possible and, really, I can't see any issues. If you're going to be playing with your PS3 Move system, you need your controllers to be fully charged. You don't want them to die while you're in the middle of a game. You want a charger that's as small as possible, that's easy to use, and that lets you know when the charge is complete. You get everything here!
Highly recommended, with no reservations.
