These days everyone seems to have a cell phone with a camera. We know these phone’s are wonderful for catching tragic moments in action, we see them everyday on television, a building burning, an accident.

Why not use your cell phone camera to catch spontaneous fun and endearing moment’s, baby doing something funny or cute, a quick hug or kiss. Of course these cell phone camera’s can catch you at the most inopportune and embarrassing moments too. Remember the old Polaroid Cameras, if there was one in your family, you may remember that you were not safe anywhere, someone would show themselves and take your picture before you had a chance to blink or smile, there was no “Are you ready?” Just a quick click and your cute but funny moment was ready to show to the world in what seemed to be a nano second; the more awkward the situation, the better (read that funny) the picture was. Still it was wonderful to see your photo in a matter of minutes. Cell phone camera’s give us the same opportunity and joy, but so often those wonderful pictures are left on the cell phone for personal viewing.

Take your very portable picture-taking one step further, take pictures then send them to your computer to share with your family. Include them when you write that very long annual family group letter and send by e-mail. There are some who do not use e-mail, still they do not need to be left out, print the photo’s along with your letter and send it snail-mail. Your photo’s may not be as sharp as you would like, but rest assured they will still be appreciated and enjoyed.

Place your cell phone photo’s in an online family album and your table photo album. Although television sitcoms make fun of the family get together, you know the one’s that show Aunt Edna bringing out the family photo’s, it does not matter the occasion, whether wedding or funeral, and giving everyone a treat by showing photo’s of 30 year old Brad when he was a baby, and as bare the day he was born. Family albums are fun and touch the hearts of all.
