FROM THE EDITORHello Everyone! Welcome to Spring, the theme of this edition of the Tarot newsletter from BellaOnline. The Tarot site continues to unfold. Great new products geared to the practice of serious Tarot reading are now featured in the Tarot shop. Visit us at https://www.bellaonline.com/Site.asp?name=Tarot to check them out! This week, the spring equinox is our focus, bringing the energy of balance and healing. This special day is the one day of the year when day and night are equal in length. Today, the sun also moves into the Aries constellation, bringing fresh new dynamic energy for this brand new season. An excellent motto for this time: "Out with the old, in with the new!" Time to clean your home, your body, your mind and your spirit. To rid yourself of any excess baggage. To begin afresh. If you have a question you would like to see published in the newsletter or you wish to contribute to this publication, kindly send in your submission to BellaOnline by emailing me at tarot@bellaonline.org. The Promise of SpringThis day has been a day of celebration in many cultures since the beginning of humankind. The Spring Equinox is also known as: Alban Eilir, Alban Elfed, Eostar, Eostre, Feast of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Festival of Trees, Lady Day, NawRuz, No Ruz, Ostara, Ostra, Rites of Spring, and the Vernal Equinox. Springtime is the season of renewal, where flowers blossom, all green things grow and people feel a renewal of energy within themselves. People even begin to wear lighter colored clothing to "match" the environment around them. Spiritually, people are discarding energies, ideas, and pictures in their auras that no longer fit them. The changing of each season provides us with a time to reflect and then make changes. Today we also celebrate Earth Day. People around the globe are taking time to salute, commune with and celebrate our sacred mother planet. To honor and attune to her. The EMPRESSThe Empress is the epitome of the Earth Mother archetype. She is the Goddess of love, fertility and generation. She teaches us to care for the earth, to show tenderness and to one another, to cherish all around us. To nourish ourselves and to nurture life itself. She also calls us to express our inner genius, to experience and appreciate our own beings as they move through the world. To drink in beauty and raise our energy to a higher more refined frequency.
