Russell Stover Low Carb Chocolates
Russell Stover has a new line of low carb chocolates, including toffee, mint and pecan. The carb counts are amazingly low, and the treats are quite tasty!
First, the 2 toffee squares. They're only .2g of carbs per piece. The chocolate is smooth and rich, and the toffee is crisp and flavorful. It flakes into little pieces that are quite nicely textured. This is definitely my favorite of the three!
Next, the 2 pecan squares. These are higher, at 1.1g per piece. Still hardly worth counting! They are a blend of pecans, caramel, and milk chocolate. It's got a mild flavor, and is a bit on the sweet side. Very creamy.
Finally, the 2 mint patties. They're the lowest carbs, only .1g per piece. They have a dark chocolate outside and a rich, creamy mint inside. The texture on this one is just great!
These are great little candies to have occasionally as a treat. They do have calories and saturated fat in them, so you wouldn't want to eat these daily, though, if your aim is to lose weight.
