Low Carb Grilled Cheese Recipe
Of course, the basis of any low carb grilled cheese recipe is going to be low carb bread. So be sure to keep a loaf around the house, because this is quick, easy and delicious!
2 slices low carb bread
2 slices cheese
1 Tbsp butter
Heat up a frying pan. Butter the bottom side of one slice of bread. Put the 2 slices of cheese on the unbuttered side, then lay the final slice of bread on top. Butter the top of the sandwich.
Grill in frying pan for about 2 minutes or until bottom is golden brown. Flip sandwich and grill on other side until golden brown. Cut in half and serve.
You can serve this with olives, a salad, egg drop soup or many other sides. You can also have it on its own for a lunch that takes about 5 minutes to make!
Note that bread is NOT good for anyone in induction, but for people on a 'normal lifestyle' of 40g - 60g/day, this is perfect! I used the Arnold whole wheat low carb bread for this, which is 6g/slice. If your bread is different carb levels, adjust accordingly!
