Slow Cooked Meatloaf

Slow Cooked Meatloaf

  • 1-1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. all-purpose seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce, divided

Preparation -
Mix all the ingredients together, except half of the tomato sauce. Shape the mixture into a loaf. Spray the inside of a crock-pot with non-stick cooking spray. Place the meatloaf in the crock-pot. Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the meatloaf. Cover and cook on high for one hour, then cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
