CRASH KELLY LANDING HIGH PROFILE GIGS

Crash Kelly has been getting some great opening spots of late. The Toronto band whose latest record, Electric Satisfaction, was produced by Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns ‘N Roses, now seen on tv as part of Supernova on the show Rockstar: Supernova) opened for Cinderella and Poison in Toronto at the Molson Amphitheatre. Then they headed to the States to open once again for Alice Cooper. They previously opened the Canadian leg of Cooper’s tour earlier this year.

GIRLS GOT RHYTHM

A CD of women tribute bands will be released on August 22 by Liquor and Poker (Century Media). Some of the bands are well known (The Iron Maidens) and others are new to a lot of us (Kissexy).

FIREBALL MINISTRY SINGER WILL CONDUCT MARRIAGE OF BAM MARGERA

Bam Margera, of Jackass fame, is getting married this winter and conducting the ceremony will be James A. Rota from Fireball Ministry who is reportedly a long-time friend. Fireball Ministry just completed a series of dates opening for Alice Cooper.

CRUCIFIED BARBARA TO OPEN FOR MOTORHEAD IN UK

Crucified Barbara, the all-girl band from Sweden has been selected to open dates for the legendary Motorhead. The band just finished all the summer festivals and will next be heading to Australia before linking up with Lemmy and the boys for a series of 18 British shows later this year.
