iTunes for Christmas
I’ve set up my green iPod Shuffle with some holiday tunes. I’m traveling this weekend to see a Christmas show in Washington, DC and I’m set with a collection of songs in a variety of Christmas genres.
The Shuffle of Chel
The Christmas Shoes by NewSong - This includes the song “The Christmas Shoes”, one of the saddest songs I’ve ever heard. However, your tears will turn to giggles when you hear “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch”.
A Charlie Brown Christmas by Vince Guaraldi - This includes all the songs of Chuck and the gang as they prepare for a Christmas pageant with a less than stellar tree. My favorite is Linus and Lucy!
December by George Winston - A wonder collection for dinner parties and background music when you have friends and family over for the holidays. A New Age mix with great piano.
This Christmas Time by LONESTAR - Old favorites beautifully done with tenderness and lots of fun.
White Christmas by Bing Crosby - I love this album. I remember Bing from my childhood and this album brings back so many memories. It’s also very appropriate with so many of our troops away for the holidays.
Christmas with Dino by Dean Martin - You can’t go wrong with Dean – a real retro album with a contemporary sound. My BFF, Kelly, loves this CD!
Merry Christmas With Love by Clay Aiken - ONE OF MY VERY FAVORITES. A great mix of tunes – I love “Mary, Did You Know”, “Don’t Save It All for Christmas Day” and “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” *You guessed it. That Washington, DC Christmas show is Clay Aiken’s Heartland Christmas Tour.
