I got a box of sugar free truffles from Dan's Chocolates to test out for our low carb diet. I was expecting them to be good - but they were EXCELLENT!

You can buy a pound or a pound-and-a-half box of truffles in boxes of a HUGE variety of designs, from holidays to birthdays to seasonal and more. You can even decorate the box with your own photo.

The sugar free truffles come in five styles - milk chocolate, dark chocolate, raspberry, mocha and peanut butter. We had a party at our house with a number of different people - none of them low carbers - and passed the box around. The people did NOT believe these truffles were sugar free and loved them. The box was almost completely empty in no time. I had to grab the box back to save a few for ourselves.

The chocolates are all hand made and are definitely not the mass-produced stuff you find stale on the shelf of your supermarket. They get delivered right to your door, and are perfect for gift giving, especially given the customizable box.

This is definitely a treat that the low carbers in your life will appreciate. A sweater might get returned - but a box of these truffles will be savored for days (if it's not divvied up and consumed amongst several in the house).
