Atkins Quick Cuisine Brownie Mix
If you want a chocolatey dessert in only 30 minutes, the Atkins Quick Cuisine mixes them up pronto. They're only 9g/brownie compared to the 26g or more from normal mixes.
The instructions are very simple. Add water, oil, and an egg. Stir and pop in the oven. 25 minutes later, voila! Brownies.
They're reasonably tasting, very rich and chocolatey, with only a slight dusty flavor to them. I think they'd be even better with sugar-free chocolate chips mixed into the blend. I did find it strange that they were to be made in an 8" x 8" pan. I do have one, but it's not a normal pan to have in a house. Also strange is that they claim it makes 11 pieces. You have a square - how do you cut a square into 11 pieces? I think they only said 11 pieces instead of the normal 9 so that each piece would have under 10g.
In any case, if you're a brownie fan, you could eat about 3 times as many brownies with this mix and still have the same carbs as with a normal mix. So while this isn't good for induction, this would be great for bringing to a family get-together and having a relatively healthy dessert for people.
