Book Review Starting an eBay Business for Dummies
Starting an eBay Business for Dummies completely covers a plethora of information that can take you from a casual, part-time seller into a full-fledged eBay entrepreneur. The book is also great for someone who is working full-time but is looking to supplement their income thru eBay. This book takes you thru all of the necessary steps of opening and running a profitable online auction business. |
Some of the books topics include:
- Deciding What to Sell
- Running Your Auction
- Marketing Your Auction
- Safe Selling
- Accepting Payments
- Timesaving Tips (Relisting, Using Templates, Mister Lister, and Auction Management Software)
If you are completely new to eBay, you will probably want to start with eBay for Dummies. Starting an eBay Business for Dummies kind of picks up where eBay for Dummies ends.
The book is well organized and each chapter is explained in great detail. The best part of the book for me was Chapter 18, where I had an opportunity to read the stories of ten successful eBay sellers. Another neat addition was the Tear-Out Cheat Sheet in the beginning of the book with an eBay Time Chart, Tax Deadlines, Purchasing Tips, Photo Tips, and General Tips. Overall, I'd give this book 4 of 4 stars and recommend it to anyone who is serious about starting an eBay business.
