Russell Stover Sugar Free Chocolate
If you're thinking about a sweet treat, why pour sugar down your throat? These sugar free chocolates are very tasty, and healthier than the sugary variety!
Russell Stover Truffels
These are shaped like reeses peanut butter cups, but have milk chocolate on the outside and a creamy truffel (soft chocolate) filling. Talk about creamy and delicious! I *loved* these. A serving size is 4 pieces, and they really do fill you up if you nibble on them and savor them. They have 20g of sugar alcohol (sucralose) and 1g of fiber, so the effective carbs for your treat is only 1g of carbs! I highly recommend these as a perfect low carb chocolate treat.
Russell Stover Caramels
These are also shaped like reeses peanut butter cups, but have milk chocolate on the outside and a very soft caramel filling. It's not the chewy type of caramel, it's more of a liquid almost. I have to admit that I didn't *love* these, they were "OK" but not great. There's something funny tasting about the caramel in it. Maybe I'm just not a huge fan of caramel but it seems to have an aftertaste. This one is 20g of sugar alcohol (sucralose) and no fiber, and again has an effective carb rate of 1g for 4 pieces. Which is a great deal!
If you are a big caramel fan, it would be worth giving these a try since I haven't seen other sugar-free caramels in my stores yet. Maybe you won't mind the aftertaste.
