Dynasty Tactics 2

Dynasty Tactics 2 is the latest strategy game based on the feudal fighting of China. Play as Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Sun Ce, or even Lu Bu!

If you're a fan of the Dynasty Warriors series, you'll pick up on the battles and storyline right away. This is the classic Three Kingdom story worked out from a tactical style of gameplay.

You have markers for each of your units, showing the infantry, cavalry, or other unit type. Each unit can move in a certain number of squares across the map - more or less depending on the terrain type. Units have strengths and weaknesses, and can support each other by using special tactics. You can learn new tactics and build up your units through battles.

After playing the Dynasty Warriors 4 game non stop for several weeks, it was a bit slow and tedious to move through square-by-square strategy. We did enjoy Kessen and the original Dynasty Tactics - but this didn't seem like it offered much more than improved graphics.
