Berenstain Bears - Books Authors
Stan and Jan Berenstain create the Berenstain Bears books. Later, their son, Michael (Mike) Berenstain joins the team. The Berenstains tackle many issues and first experiences in a child’s life. They write on a variety of subjects. Too much junk food, too much tv, messy room, moving day and trouble with money are a few of the subjects.
The Berenstains create the Berenstain Bear family. They live in a tree house in Bear country. There are a mother and papa with two bear cubs. The bear cubs are Brother Bear and Sister Bear. The cub’s ages are between four and eight just like target readers.
The picture books are popular. Each book deals with an issue of concern to children. Use the books to open an exchange on the subject. The books help children learn how to deal with their feelings.
