Low Carb Spinach Saag Recipe
I'm a fan of Indian food, and love saag. Even if you don't like spinach, give this creamy creation a try. It's very flavorful, and healthy too!
Ingredients:
20oz frozen spinach
3 Tbsp butter
1 onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp curry powder
1 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup half-and-half
Thaw spinach and blend until smooth. Set aside
Melt butter in a pan. Add in onion and garlic cloves. Add in spices. Pour in half-and-half and spinach. Stir until thoroughly heated.
Enjoy!
Spinach is VERY healthy for you, full of nutrition and very low carb. It's got iron, calcium, vitamin A, Folates, Vitamin C, Vitamin K and much more!
For carbs, spinach is INCREDIBLY low in carbs. It only has 0.2g of carbs per half cup. That is zero-point-two! Eat spinach in abundance!
