Top Writing Questions
I'm going to do something a little bit different today. I'm going to reverse engineer a bit.
I am in the process of restructuring this site. I would like to answer the questions you have and teach in the areas you, my readers, would like the most. Usually, I do some search engine searches to find out what search terms writers are searching on. Then, I write about the topic and wait for feedback in my forum.
Today, I'd like to reverse this process. You, my readers, know what questions you have. You also know what information would be most helpful to you right now.
So to help me to help you...let me hear from you!
What areas of nonfiction writing do you want to learn about most? What areas are of interest to you, but not burning hot right now?
For example, We are all in the middle of a major shift in publishing and marketing our writing. Technology as well as how readers are wanting to participate more with the author's they read, has really shaken things up.
I have been combing a lot of studies and also doing surveys to help me to see the trends as they show up. However, the best help in the world would be to hear what you, my readers, truly need at this time.
I will eventually cover all the major topics in nonfiction writing. However, I would really like to delve into what is needed the most right now.
So...if you would help me out here and lend me a few minutes of your time, I sure would appreciate it.
You can stop by my forum and leave a message on this post or send me an email.
I'd like to meet as many of you as I can. Tell me a little bit about you and your writing, your career or the career you are seeking. Then tell me what questions you have. What you would like to learn about, or what things are just not working for you right now.
I will read everything, and then the most often asked questions or ideas, I will research and write on first. All the way down the line to any questions I receive only once.
In this hurried world we live in, it is sometimes hard to put your finger on the issues you need solved or the questions you need to ask. If you can't think of anything, than please take a minute to introduce yourself and tell me where you are in your writing and where you would like to be.
This way, other writer's can read about what is working and perhaps find some additional answers as well.
When I have compiled all the questions and ideas over the next few weeks, I will write an article here with the top questions. I will also link to other articles that will answer the rest of the questions I receive if I can't fit them all into one article.
Happy Writing!
