I Like Bugs - Book Review - Lorena Siminovich
Lorena Siminovich writes I like Bugs. The infant and toddler’s board book has twelve pages. It is a combination juvenile counting and nature book. Babies and toddlers(0-4) are the intended audience for the book.

Kids see bright insects flying and crawling. They are bees, beetles, butterflies and more for children to learn their shapes and names. In the touch-and-feel insect book, kids touch the bugs’ bodies for a tactile sensation. This allows visually challenged kids to count the bugs, too.

The numbers are large in a bold, black font. The counting book starts with ‘one dragonfly.’ Morever, one cat tail, one waterlily, one sun draws the child’s attention to more concepts of one. The beginning counting book goes from one to five. Therefore, on the last two pages, there are five bugs and five flowers to count.

Lorena Siminovich’s I like Bugs is a cute board book. Infants and toddlers will love it. Vivant colored bugs will hold their attention as they learn to count and recognize different insects and colors. I like Bugs, the interactive book, is 5.5 X 5.75 inches. Left-sided corners are softly rounded. Pages are thick to survive a baby's chews and tosses.
