I am a 26-year old woman born and living in Poland. Since I was a child I have always been passionate about differences between cultures, customs and traditions as well as getting to know them from the locals when visiting a given country. As I work in a tourism field I learnt also to be aware of my own country´s cultural heritage and to be able to convey this passion to others. Having been brought up in a traditional Polish family this knowledge comes to me naturally - as it goes together with practice.
Deep inside me I feel a strong need to share my experience connected with Polish culture, showing how life here really looks like and trying to fight the stereotypes that exist about the Poles. I also try to get to know more about how life here used to look like and from where the traditions derive. As living conditions change all around the world and life becomes quicker for all of us, I miss the life that our ancestors used to lead, in which tradition played an important role. Therefore I keep on cultivating the tradition in my own life being convinced that it is of great importance to feel belonging to the place from which I come from.
I hope to share my passion with readers of BellaOnline to show them that culture is one of things that can save people from insensibility towards each other and that one can be still amazed by something that is so much present in our everyday life.
