I have always been drawn to beautiful photographs. A well captured photo is worth so much more than a thousand words. It is a rush of emotions, desires and memories.

I have taken classes in both film and digital photography, and prefer digital medium for the “right now results” that it offers. I have developed my own film in a darkroom, and used Photoshop to edit digital photographs.

There are many choices for cameras these days, and I have used many different kinds. I currently own three cameras. The least used is my film SLR, which I don’t have the heart to sell because it does take such beautiful pictures. I also have a GE point and shoot camera that is very affordable, small, and easy to pack around. Never think that a point and shoot isn’t a valuable camera to have. I have taken pictures with this camera that have won awards. I mostly shoot with a Nikon 5000 that I just love to experiment with.

All photography lovers are welcome here, whether you like to take snapshots of everything in sight, or hunt down the perfect shot. I look forward to getting to know all of you, and building a “picture-perfect” place to learn about the art of photography.
