As a confessed sports fanatic, I’m excited to know that writing for BellaOnline allows me to share my thoughts about the greatest sport ever created. My love of the game started with my Dad, who coached many of my peers in Pop Warner football. Dad allowed me to tag along to practices and games and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I learned a lot about teamwork, camaraderie and fun, so, football was a huge part of my household and formative years.
Growing up, I watched a host of football legends play for the marquee teams on Sunday afternoons. I especially loved the watching the offense and its glamour positions – quarterback, running back and wide receiver. While I loved watching any football game, my heart was with America’s Team. I am an unabashed Dallas Cowboys fan. While I still love the Cowboys, I enjoy watching my son’s football team compete even more. I’ve even grown to love the Nose Guard position.
Please know that I look forward to talkin’ football with other women (and men too) who love the sport. This site will cover high school, college and pro football. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, feel free to contact me.
