One of the fondest memories I have as a child is staying up late to watch what I used to call “old” films with my grandmother. I remember feeling sympathetic toward the deformed man forced to live as a “Phantom” beneath The Garnier Opera House in Lon Chaney’s The Phantom of the Opera(1925). And I remember laughing until my tummy ached while watching my all-time favorite Marx Brothers film, A Day at the Races(1937).

The love for classic films is genetic to me. From my great grandmother, passed down to my grandmother to my mother then to me, I appreciate these films greatly, and that’s why I’m here. My mission is to bring into focus not just the stars in front of the camera but to shed some light on those behind the camera. Certainly, you will be reconnected with some familiar classics and stars; hopefully, you will be inspired and curious by the films unknown to you as well.
