Hello and welcome to Home Finance!

I am in my early fifties and grew up in Pennsylvania where I still happily reside!

I have a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Chatham College. In addition, I have held professional securities licenses such as Series 63 and Series 7. I also developed and owned a financial website which focused on North American regional banks and financial companies.

I am thrilled to be joining BellaOnline as the Home Finance Editor as I feel it is an enormously challenging and exciting category. Home Finance encompasses a myriad of topics ranging from debt management, taxes, insurance, estate planning to saving and investing money. It is my hope to write articles that are of interest and relevance to readers. I also welcome suggestions from readers for future topics.

My hobbies are rather eclectic; everything from hiking, horticulture, nature photography to needlepoint and sports. Since I grew up during the 1960s, I have fond memories of the television shows of that particular era; so, naturally, I’m a big fan of classic TV. The subjects of sustainable living and homesteading are of special importance to me.
