I have a B.A. in art and am a retired R.N. I am the mother of 4 adult children, three sons and a daughter; and grandmother of 3. My interests include dolls and doll making, sewing, knitting, crocheting,drawing, painting and gardening. I made my first cloth doll about 30 years ago for my daughter and now I´m making them for my grandchildren.

Some of my most prized possessions are my porcelain dolls. One is a baby doll given to me, twenty years ago, by a fellow teacher at the middle school where I taught art. I named her Elizabeth. My other porcelain doll is a 22 inch tall Maryse Nicole fashion doll that was given to me by my daughter.

I am happy to review books, dolls and items related to doll making. Please be aware that any review I write is my honest opinion, good or bad, not a press release.
