Below the Formatting Toolbar is the Formula Bar. The formula bar is made up of the Name Box and the Forumla Bar. The name bar always displays the cell address of the active cell and can be used to navigate to another cell by typing the cell address in it and pressing enter. The Name Box is also used for Named Ranges. The formula bar displays the content of the active cell. When the active cell contains a formula, the formula can be viewed in the formula bar while the cell displays the results of the formula. You can use the formula bar to edit the cell contents.
