Selection: Currently Halloweenie's selection of women's plus size costumes totals fifty-two styles (an additional thirty-two styles for men) which is up from the previous year. There is an assortment of men and women's styles ranging from sexy to fairytale to scary. Men can be: a Plastic Surgeon, a Roman, a Hill Billy Honeymoon Groom, a Gangster, a Purple Pimp, a Pirate or a Venetian. Women can be: a Tavern Wench, a Pirate Beauty, a Fine Foxy Mama, a Flapper, a Hill Billy Bride or a Gothic Prom Queen as was as the traditional Vampire and Witch.
Sizing: The plus-sizes for men are 48-52 and for women are 18-24. Not all costumes come in all sizes.
Pricing: They are affordable ranging in price from $30 - $70.
Availability: Halloweenie ships only within the US with most orders leaving distribution within 24 hours.
Overall Impression: I don't know why but this one been one of my favorite plus size Halloween stores for years (maybe it's the name). The variety and sizing is good although I would like to see larger sizes made available. For sexy costumes I recommend the Tavern Wench, Athena, She Devil and my personal favorite, the Geisha. For Scary, try the Widow's Web, Reaper or Devil Fairy. And for the meek try the Flapper, Nun or Pocahontas (Native American). The site hasn't been updated in terms of stock lately but Robert from Halloweenie assures me that the site will be updated and that their stock is tripling.
