The valslide forearm plank pike to pushup from knees is one of the most vicious upper body core exercises around. Not only does it work your chest, triceps, and shoulders, it also boosts lower body flexibility so you look leaner and taller. The best part about this exercise is that it also burns tons of calories. Never been out of breath or felt your heart rate increase while doing pushups or core work? Get ready to sweat like crazy and feel your heart rate go through the roof (in a good way).
The TRX bodyweight row is the #1 exercise for losing back fat and sculpting jiggle free lean toned arms. It works the entire back, core, and biceps. Throw in a bridge and it also doubles up as a lower body exercise. The reason the TRX bodyweight row is much more effective than regular dumbbell or resistance band rows is that it’s not an isolation exercise. It’s a total body exercise that requires the use of multiple muscles groups. This turns up the calorie burn big time.
When you combine these 3 killer bootcamp exercises into a quick bootcamp circuit like you see in the video below, you’ve got an intense cardio toning workout that saves time and gets results fast. Try 45 seconds of all 6 exercises (don't forget the other side on single side moves) with no breaks between exercises. After one circuit rest for 45 seconds and repeat 2-3 more times.
