The MotionArtist^TM enthusiast will be glad to hear of the new release of MotionArtist 4 from e frontier America, Inc. and e frontier, Inc. If you have read my previous review of MotionArtist (see link below), you know that MoitonArtist is an easy-to-use, template-based animation software that guides you step-by-step through the creation of your own Flash^R animations, without the need for the Flash software.

With this new upgrade, you will notice the familiar workspace which, although it has many new features, is still uncomplicated and non-intimidating. Some of these new features are reflected in the new Startup Panel which includes a link to built-in Sample Documents which give you inspiration and a great headstart on learning the program. These Sample Documents are popular animations such as falling snow and a slide-in grid banner.

You will also notice many new templates added to the New Flash Wizard including templates for greeting cards, slide presentations, games, movies, comic books and “Now Loading” animations. I really liked the new loader animations that give your project such a professional look. Of course, the program still offers many templates for web banners, web nav menus, photo albums, rollover buttons and more.
