Apricot Pecan Bread

Apricot Pecan Bread

This is a bread machine recipe, for one (1-1/2 pound ) loaf.

  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 T. butter, softened at room temperature
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 1 T. active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation -
Place all the ingredients in a bread machine, in the order suggested in your bread machine owner's manual. Set to the basic white bread cycle. Choose the light crust setting. When the bread has finished baking, remove the loaf from the pan to cool on a wire rack.
