Scalloped Pineapple

Scalloped Pineapple Recipe

Serve as a side dish with ham.

  • 6 slices bread
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, with juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Preparation -
Remove the crust from the bread. Cut the bread into small (about 1/2") cubes. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Pour the mixture into a buttered 8" or 9" square baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 350º for 1 hour or until set and very lightly browned. Makes about 6 servings.
