Shockingly, the Grammy Award Ceremony had low ratings this year. Many point the finger at their competition - American Idol! Yes, that’s accurate - this year, American Idol had several more viewers than the Grammy Awards. Kelly Clarkston (American Idol Sweet-heart) took home two Grammy Awards this year and Fantasia sang live at the Grammy's. Kinda funny, don't you think?
The 3D Gorillaz and Madonna kicked off the Grammy Award Ceremony. It is unbelievable that Madonna; “almost” 50 years old, is still able to WOW the audience in such a skimpy little outfit and stunning voice. Her presentation was simply remarkable.
Throughout the night - many diverse singers embellished the stage, “strutting their stuff.” John Legond, Sugarland, U2, Kelly Clarkston, Mary J. Blige, Paul McCartney, Kanye West, a duo of Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder… plus many others.
Everything about the 48th Grammy Awards rocked. From the entrance of the striking guests dressed in their finest, to the after parties… this years Grammy’s really were electrifying!
