Italian Meatballs

Italian Meatballs

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 lb. sweet italian sausage - removed from casing
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion - diced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup bread crumbs with Italian seasoning

Preparation -
In a large bowl combine ground beef with italian sausage and mix well. Add beaten egg, onion, salt, pepper and seasoned bread crumbs. Mix together and shape into meatballs - about 1 1/2" to 2" round. Place in a casserole dish and bake for about 40 to 45 minutes at 375º. Drain any excess fat before adding sauce or other ingredients.
