In order to clean up your diet you first need to uncover your biggest eating trouble zone. What are your biggest clean eating issues? Do you avoid vegetables, do you skip meals, do you binge when tired, do you rely on stimulants for energy all the time, do you overeat when stressed, etc. Once you pinpoint your biggest trouble zone, work on clean eating solutions that will help you fix that one zone. Focus on habits not just on clean foods
When most of us set out to clean up our diets we tend to focus too much on foods instead of on the habits that motivate us to eat the foods we choose. Be honest about how clean you want to eat
How clean do you really want to eat? Do you want to be 100% compliant and never touch junk food again? Are you happy with 80-90% of your meals being clean? Are you only willing to clean it up 50-60% of the time? The honest truth is that most people don’t want to be perfect and that’s o.k. but it’s important that you decide how clean to eat and then try to stick to that most of the time.
