Paint Shop Pro 9 General Tips

General tips:
  • You can change the size of any brush or tool as needed. The controls are in the Tool Options palette.
  • When working with a 200 or larger resolution, the image will look larger than it should. To get a more accurate view, click View > Zoom > Zoom Out.
  • If you want to remove what you have drawn, click on the Undo button on the Standard toolbar. This can be done repeatedly to remove several steps in reverse sequence.
  • If any of the toolbars (or palettes) are not visible, click View > Toolbars (or Palettes) to display them on the workspace.



To setup the rulers in the Image Window on the Paint Shop Pro workspace version 7, 8 and 9:
  • If the rulers are not visible in the Image Window, click View > Rulers.
  • The default unit of measurement for the Ruler is pixels. To change this to Inches or Centimeters click File > Preferences > General Program Preferences.
  • When the Paint Shop Pro Preferences dialog box opens, click on the Rulers and Units tab (version 7) or the Units tab (version 8 and 9).
  • In the Rulers section, set the Display Units to Inches, Centimeters or Pixels from the drop-down list.
  • Click OK.
