Filling A Layer Or Selection With A Pattern - Photoshop CS - Page 2

Method Two

Step 1. You can fill an entire layer by clicking on that layer in the Layers palette. If you prefer to fill only part of the layer, select the area using one of the Marquee tools in the Toolbox.

Step 2. Click on the Paint Bucket tool icon in the Toolbox.

Step 3. In the Options bar choose Pattern from the Fill drop-down list.

Step 4. In the Options bar click on the arrow next to Pattern. Choose your pattern from the Pattern pop-up palette.

Step 5. Click on the area to fill it with the pattern.
